The iRobot Roomba 400 Vacuum Cleaning Robot offers standard Roomba features such as stair avoidance, automatic transitioning from hard floors to carpets and a large bag-less bin. Vacuums beneath furniture and other hard-to-reach places and automatically avoids stairs and drop-offs.
Slightly uncommon use?
Reviewer Comments: I have a 530 at home, so when I was at a store and found an excellent deal on a 400 series, I couldn’t resist. The only problem was I didn’t really need another one for my house… so I decided to take it to work and see how it would do. The catch — I run a BMW / Mercedes repair shop. To my amazement, little patty does great. My only complaint is that he isn’t compatible with the virtual walls from my 530, so he often runs outside when the bay doors are open. I’m afraid one day he will get run over in the parking lot. Otherwise he’s great! I’ve made believers of the other guys in the shop.
