Byerly Wakeboarding Helmet 2008
When the biggest name in the industry needed a helmet Bern answered the call. With a progressive snow inspired look and innovative features, Hyperlite’s Byerly helmet is one that will get you recognized.

excellent

Sizing: Feels true to size

Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight

Best Uses: Water Sports, Boarding

Reviewer Comments: I use this helmet full time for wakeboarding. I was motivated to get the ear flaps after a nasty spill that left me with ear pain and vertigo for the rest of the day. This helmet has more padding and protects better than some of the more popular brands.

There are 2 minor drawbacks. #1 the helmet has enough ventilation to prevent heat buildup, but doesnt have enough holes on the very top to allow for water to drain if you leave it upside down to dry. #2 If you are not careful about putting it away properly (Ie just throw it in the storage locker) the rubberized flaps can get bent outward which makes it look like you are wearing wings on your head. Minor issues, nothing that would stop me from giving a HUGE recommendation.
