Pros: Easy to Install, Easy to Use, Lightweight

Cons: Not compatible w spare, Unstable, Not Recom for ‘ 2 hitch, Doesn’t Fit My Car, No locking mechanism

Reviewer Comments: I purchased this rack to transport two full suspension bikes with a Jeep Liberty.

The quality of the rack itself seemed sufficient, however it gave the definition of “hitch wobble” new meaning. I have a two inch hitch on the Jeep and this product is considered “compatible”. However the rack utilizes a durable plastic adapter/sheath to enlarge it to fit ‘2. Unfortunately, it fits loosely in the sheath which results in a frightening game of “Which turn or bump will result in a yard sale of $4,000 worth of bike parts all over the highway?” The product never failed, but the thought that it might never left my mind the entire trip.

Additionally, the hitch does not extend far enough out from the rear of the Jeep to clear a spare tire (this is a common problem for MOST hitches).

I liked the product for its simplicity in set up and storage. However, I do not recommend this product to anyone with:
• a ‘2 hitch,
• a spare tire,
• a need to secure the bikes,
• or a faint heart.
