Reviewer Comments: I bought a Kerig for my husband’s Cristmas gift last year. Unlike some other gifts, we’re still using it evey day! We love it because I like flavored coffes and my husband likes regular coffees. We never have to throw out coffee anymore! I make one pot of regular coffee in the morning and we use the keurig in the evenings when I want a “Foofy” (that’s what he calls flavored coffee) cup of coffee and he wants “Plain Old Coffee” or decaf or half-caf. It even goes on vacation with us. We took it with us on our last vacation and his brother liked the machine so much that he came with us to the Green Mountain Store (We were vacationing in Stowe at the time, which is a stone’s throw from the store in Waterbury, VT) and bought HIS own machine! He also signed up for the Cafe’ Express shipping club and tried to talk us into it too, but we’re already members! I even recycle the coffee and I’ve finally figured out a way to recycle the K-cups, too. After I take out the coffee, I remove the liner and put the K-cup into an empty plant tray/flat. When the tray is filled with cups, I fill them with starter soil and plant one or 2 seeds (depending on seed size)per K-cup, water them and cover them with a clear plastic, fitted dome lid. I also root plant cuttings same way. When the seedlings are well-established and the cuttings have roots, I “harden them off” in the yard for a week or two and then pop them out of the K-cups and plant them in their permanent homes. Sadly, the k-cups then go to the landfill. My only recommendation for improvement is that Green Mountain Coffee Company finds a way to make the K-cups bio-degradeable. Other than that, the Keurig machines (All of Them!) and the K-cups are great!
