Saved My Daughter’s Life!

Reviewer Comments: My Husband and I spent countless hours trying to decide on the best car seat to bring our newborn baby girl home in. We weren’t looking for anything cute, we were looking for safety and functionality. It turns out that we chose the perfect one. On December 8th, 2008 I was rear-ended by a very large truck while sitting still at a red light. In the back seat of my ’06 Mazda3 was my precious cargo, 1 month old Emma. The trunk of my car was non-existent, and the back window shattered. The entire back of the car was smashed against the backseats. Amazingly, Emma only slightly woke up long enough to let out a single scream, then she fell back asleep. The paramedic on the scene told me that the car seat my husband and I had selected saved our little girl’s life. The sunshade had protected her from any cuts she may have received otherwise from the shattering glass. You couldn’t even tell the car seat had been in such an accident. When told that we were going to have to buy a new car seat before taking our little one home from the emergency room, we had no doubts about which car seat to choose. I, for one, would not trust any other car seat to protect my daughter’s life.

Keeping high and dry….

Reviewer Comments: I spend a lot of time in the winter months up to my hips in freezing cold water, between oystering and clamming (I am a commercial shellfisher) and duck hunting. Leaky cold waders are not an option. Before purchasing the Guide series waders from Gander Mountain, I have used several brands, (including very expensive name brands) and have had mixed reviews about many. The Guide Series waders are everything I need in a wader. The material is tough enough to sand up against the sharpest oyster shell, The boot soles are tough and ready to keep those toes from freezing off with 600 g thinsulate. And the price is unbeatable. I can’t think of one thing I don’t like about this product. Anyone who spends even a short time in cold water, whether it be fishing or hunting, or whatever, can benefit from these waders.

Reviewer Comments: Dog slowly adapting to using the thing. Formerly she had flat beds that she likes to paw around and make a mess of, before plopping down, but they do not provide much support or insulation for her ageing bones.

As for me, I had a hard time figuring out the innards…not being the sharpest tack in the box…The innards are compressed inside a plastic bag. I didn’t realize the plastic bag was a disposable wrapper; thought it was waterproofing…so eventually, when the innards didn’t expand, I cut off the plastic wrapper and voila! Now I had a burgeoned mushroom I had to stuff in the shell, not so easy…Had I placed the guts inside the shell before releasing the plastic wrapper, I’d have felt like a genius, and the dog’s owner would have smiled upon me admiringly, instead of laughing herself nearly sick watching me leap on the unwrapped innards inside the shell trying to provoke expansion.

This tea has helped me lose 20 pounds!

Reviewer Comments: I like this tea cold. I make a gallon of tea with 3 tablespoons tea in the large tea bag. I bring it to a boil and let it seep until cool then sweeten with a little splenda. I serve the tea on ice. (It does not make well as a sun tea, it needs the hoter water.)

The only problem is my family has discovered “mom’s special tea” so I can’t keep it around! I have replaced nearly all soda consumption with this tea and have lost 20 pounds in one year. The tea was the only major difference, as I used to drink 0-calorie sodas, and my exercise level is the same. The tea increased my metabolism, allowing me to lose weight when I had struggled for years just to maintain it, let alone lose any!

This tea has become my favorite beverage. I now order 1-2 pounds at a time because I don’t want to runout!
