Buzzillions Reaches 10 Million Product Reviews

March 30th, 2010 1 comment

Behind every review is a person and a story. Since we first started Buzzillions nearly three years ago, we’ve collected over 10 million of those stories. Each one is a slice of the reviewer’s life, and we’re continually awed by their ability to educate, entertain, and even inspire us. There’s Abby from Las Vegas whose baby monitor saved her son’s life, and “Speedgoat Karl” whose running shoes helped him finish the entire 2167 mile Appalachian Trail in 54 days, and Samantha from Chicago who finally found a pet bed her dog will actually sleep in.

Here’s to all those who helped us reach this milestone, and to 10 million more reviews!

Bell Alchera Euro Road Helmet
A podium-worthy Bell helmet that's sure to become your new favorite!

I love this helmet.

4 stars
4out of 5

Sizing: Feels true to size

Pros: Convenient back-of-head adjustment, Good ventilation

Best Uses: Road cycling, Everyday riding

Reviewer Comments: I pedalled after coming out of a 180 degrees corner and took a rather hard spill. Landed on my head. The helmet is toast but I did not feel the impact at all (how great is that). The only problem though is that one of the plastic straps cut my skin, but hey I will take that if it avoids a more serious damage to my head. I am off to performance to buy another one (please do not tell my wife).

Leba III Dental Spray
Leba III is unique, advanced-formula herbal dental spray for pets that removes tartar and prevents future buildup on the teeth… all in a convenient spray.

Awesome Stuff

5 stars
5out of 5

Pros: Effective, Long-Lasting, Good Value, Gentle, Controls Odor, Easy To Use

Reviewer Comments: I have been using Leba III for about six weeks now. I have a 2 year old mix and an 11 year old Great Pyrenees. The youndg one has no tooth problems so I am using it to maintain–it is so much easier than brushing. The Pyr has had horrible teeth. I had them cleaned once — and $600.00 later, within 3 months the tartar and bad breath were back. After the first week of using Leba III the breath was 100% better and I began seeing the tartar disappear. And believe me, some of his teeth were so caked it was horrible. Brushing was doing nothing to bring them back. After using Leba III they are now slowly becoming white again. I realized that it would take a little longer since they were so bad, but I am very impressed with the product. Brushing was a pain and most pet toothpaste has sorbitol in it and I couldn’t use it more than twice a week or it gave them diarrhea. I found one with baking soda but without sorbitol but it still did not get his teeth clean. The spray is soooooo easy, I do it in the morning and nite and it was so easy to make it part of the daily routine. GOOD JOB GUYS!

Pros: Good for your hair, Great Smell, Extremely Cost Effective, Added Nutrients

Best Uses: Odor Control, As A Dry Shampoo

Reviewer Comments: Aerosol dry shampoos are essentially 1/100 of the amount of powder you get in this bottle, mixed with some aerosol, alcohol, a bunch of other crazy chemicals, and a hefty $18-36 price range. My reason for not washing my hair so much is to avoid drying it out… so why spray alcohol on it?I have dry, crimpy, wavy hair. In order to keep it straight and soft, I wash, condition and blow dry every Monday and Thursday or Friday, with an occasional extra washing for special circumstances. Sometimes I use a smidge of powder the second day, and I always use more on the third day of not washing my hair with water.I tie my hair up and cover it for my shower and then after my regular routine I comb my med-dark hair out and start on the left side of my part. I sprinkle some powder across my left hand fingertips, and then tap and shake my hair just on the left of my part. At this point, it is slightly white. If it’s extra oily, I’ll do this again moving my fingers down as I tap and shake my hair. Then I take about a 1/2 in piece on the left side of my somewhat thin hair, and I flip that up and over the right side, essentially revealing a new, oily part. I sprinkle powder across my fingertips and tap and shake all around that part. I flip another piece up and repeat that all the way down section by section. Then I flip it back, and do the same down the right side and a little in the back.I do show a little white at this point, but my hair and my head feel fresh and smell great. After I quickly run my hot straightener through a few sections, you totally cannot tell that I didn’t wash my hair. The best thing about this is that after having done this for quite some time, my hair doesn’t produce so much oil because I am not stripping it everyday in the shower. In fact, this powder has vitamin e and other delicious ingredients. Because my hair is retaining all its moisture, it isn’t as susceptible to humidity – which is life changing (being dramatic… but seriously!). A [$] dollar bottle lasts forever, and my hair is the healthiest it’s ever been. It’s definitely not a quick fix in the morning for me as a brunette, because I need the flat iron to make the white go away, but I would need that anyway to touch my hair up, so it’s actually not that much extra of a step, and is quicker than washing, blow drying and straightening. I will live by this product for as long as I can currently tell. I love this stuff…this is the stuff!

Everyone loves them

Sizing: Feels half size too big

Width: Feels true to width

Pros: Stable, Durable, Sexy, Comfortable, Stylish

Reviewer Comments: Bought these for my little 2 year old girl … and she loves them. In fact everyone loves them. They are so eyecatching. No one can miss them. As soon as she awakes in the morning, my little girl searches for the boots and demands they are fitted – so funny. We’ll have to get another pair once these ones wear out or get too small.
