Step Away From The Stroller!!

Pros: Stylish

Cons: Bulky, Few Features, Poor Quality, Small Basket

Reviewer Comments: I loved this stroller when I first saw it. I’m in the middle of nowhere and my only options for stroller shopping were [...] so when I trekked 40 min. out of town to Babies R Us, I was thrilled to see this stroller. I wish I would’ve driven back home and read the reviews before I purchased this. First the positives. It is a very cute stroller and somewhat affordable. I was not aware of the whole “bugagoo” comparisons, but most people around here don’t care about those things and wouldn’t know the difference. Second, the adjustable handle and being able to face the baby both ways is a great idea. Now the realities. It is a 2 part system and takes getting used to and having some finesse to load and unload from your car. Second, the seat can be pretty bulky to fit in the back of a trunk. Also, one little cup holder and a small compartment on the bottom of the stroller is not enough for me. I usually hang the diaper bag from the handle, so that I can whip out a bottle in a snap or grab a diaper real quick, or even place a few shopping bags if its not too much. No such luck with this stroller. The handles are too wide to fit anything around it. And to reiterate some of the other responses, the handle does start to feel flimsy after a few uses. And you can’t turn the baby around while she’s still in it. But the worst part of all, are the tires. Now, I have been very, very careful about where I use this stroller. After I came home and saw the reviews, I should’ve boxed it up and returned it immediately, but the positive responses it got counteracted the warnings, so I gave it a chance. Big mistake. Both tires already have a hole in them. As if having a baby isn’t expensive enough, now I’ve got to replace these tires. I can’t help but think that there could’ve been an easier way for the company to make those tires more affordable, economical and practical. But no. I always say, the baby industry is the last one to realize there is a recession going on. Please DO NOT BUY THIS STROLLER. YOU WILL REGRET IT.

Very poor construction

Sizing: Feels half size too small

Width: Feels too narrow

Cons: Uncomfortable, Too Stiff

: These are the worst shoes that I have every ordered. The pairs of shoes don’t even match in construction. On one the cross straps are attached in one place, where on the other shoe, the straps are attached in a totally different place. Not to mention, they are so uncomfortable on my foot. I could never wear these mis-matched shoes anywhere. THEY ARE GOING BACK IMMEDIATELY.

Old Town Guide 16-ft Canoe Review

Old Town Guide 16-ft Canoe
The Old Town® Guide 160 is designed for the outdoorsperson looking for a canoe stable enough for fishing or nature watching, yet versatile enough for family excursions.

Wide & Stable. This baby’s a tank!

5 stars
5 5

Pros: Rugged, Stability

Cons: Heavy

Best Uses: Hard use

: I use this canoe fishing with just about anybody that will go with me. That goes from my 4 yr old nephew to my 92 yr old mother. She loves the seats and seat backs for the support and comfort they provide. I am no fly weight at almost 300 lbs, yet I can fish for hours on end without getting a flat butt! Try that on a flat seat. As others have said, it is a bit heavy to load solo, but well worth the extra effort. I would not choose this canoe for serious touring with long portages, but for almost any other use this is one sweet canoe. More stable than any other canoe I have ever been in including Mad River, other Old Towns, Coleman, Grumman, Lincoln and E.H. White. I love mine. If you have a small car or suv, check the width to be sure this canoe will fit your rack. It just fits a Ford Explorer rack.

Best Uses: Porch, Back Yard, Garden, Front Yard

: This statue is so realistic that I forget it is not a real cat and wonder whose cat is that on my porch! This cat stretches and greets all my visitors and puts a smile on my face. I have admired it for some time, and when it went on sale, I grabbed it. Love it.
