Not so much a weird product as an awesome one. Local company Timbuk2’s Dolores Cooler is a beer cooler disguised as a messenger bag. It’s got a waterproof insulated lining & can hold at least 12 beers, plus ice. Since it has a built in bottle opener & coordinates with the PBR color scheme, we’re willing to overlook the fact that standard Timbuk2 bags are also waterproof & beer friendly.

Every secret project needs a code name & when project “Fluffernutter” launched on Buzzillions we had to celebrate. Naturally, we made Fluffernutter sandwiches to commemorate the occassion. As an East Coaster, I was alarmed to learn that some of my colleagues had never tried Fluffernutter. If you’ve never had Fluffernutter here’s how to make your own:
Ingredients
lots of Marshmallow Fluff
lots of peanut butter
2 pieces bread (preferably Wonder Bread)
Directions: Liberally spread peanut butter on one slice of bread. Even more liberally spread Marshmallow Fluff onto the other piece of bread. Close sandwich, eat, & enjoy the stickyness.
I suppose the MSG could be partly to blame for how great this bizarre substance tastes, but there is more to it than just that, and it can only be understood by those who understand.
Alan, an account manager on the Buzzillions team, recently got his Honda Element tricked out with a pop-top camper. Southern California company Ursa Minor converted his SUV into an ECamper complete with 7′x4′ matress and Sunbrella fabric tent panels. Alan claims it’s for camping, but we’re not so sure. After all, it earned the dubious distinction of being the #7 Car You Can Live in After Your Home is Reposessed. Either way, it’s a pretty awesome vehicle, reminiscent of the VW Westfalia.
Whether you prefer an Ecamper or a traditional tent, we have all the camping gear product reviews you could possibly need here (don’t forget the portable hot tub). If your car needs a tune-up before you hit the road, check out the car part reviews from JC Whitney, our newest Buzzillions partner.
The Buzzillions team boasts lots of animal enthusiasts, arguably none more ardent than our QA engineer, Csongor. He has his very own 6 gallon saltwater aquarium at home & a webcam that tracks the underwater shenanigans 24/7. The webcam has become a hit around the office & people regularly check up on the clown fish (Uno), shrimp (Scampi), tropical blue fish (Blue), crab (Mr. Crab), and sea anenome (name TBA) on their iPhones and computers.
Unfortunately, the webcam can only support a few users at a time so it sometimes crashes. Since we don’t want that to happen, here’s the next best thing:
The Buzzillions.com team generally stands back and lets the consumer do the talking. But from time to time we'd like to share our experiences in working with the thousands and thousands of consumers writing reviews everyday.
