Graco SafeSeat Infant Car Seat - Eclipse
The new Infant SafeSeat™ (Step 1) is one of the only Infant Carriers on the Market that will accommodate a child rear-facing up to 30 lbs. and 32 inches tall. Thus fitting 97% of one year olds which is very important as children must remain in a rear-facing car seat until they reach One Year A…

Safety concern be gone!

5 stars
5out of 5

Pros: Comfortable, Sturdy, Safe

Cons: Heavy

Best Uses: Back Seat, Infants

Reviewer Comments: If anyone is concerned about the safety of a car seat, this one will give you peace of mind. My 5 month old son and I were rear-ended at 75 mph (we were going 35 mph) by a drunk driver…in the middle of the day, no less! My car spun around and was also side-swiped on the passenger side where my son was strapped in, and we landed in a ditch (car was totaled). This car seat held my baby in tightly and securely…so much so that he escaped with very minor injuries (he had scrapes on his neck from the glass shards, but that had nothing to do with the car seat). This car seat saved my son’s life.

As to other features, I agree with the other reviews in that this seat is heavy and cumbersome. However, I gave it a 5-star rating for safety and design (easy to assemble). I’ve already recommended it to a friend of mine who is expecting her first child. In fact, we had to destroy the car seat that was in the accident (even though there was no visible damage), and we ordered this same seat again. Hopefully no one will have to put this seat to the test as I did; but, if safety is a concern of yours, this is the right car seat. :o)

May have saved my daughter’s life

Pros: Peace of mind

Best Uses: Accident Prevention

Reviewer Comments: I’ve never written a review before but after my horrific experience last night, I felt compelled to. My friend recommended this product before I gave birth so I bought it and installed it a couple of months ago even though my then 2 month old wasn’t moving much. Well now she’s 4 1/2 months and in the last week she’s gotten quite active in her crib. So I did my usual check on her before going to bed last night and there she was, laying at just the right angle with her head turned in just the right way to where she had her face and nose up against the bumper. Even though I knew it was a breathable bumper, my blood ran cold. Thank God she was okay but had I not had this exact product on her crib, the outcome could have been much different. This product is a MUST HAVE, because although you think your baby could never end up in the position mine did, they can! Don’t take the chance, it’s WELL worth the money. Also, we have a sleigh crib and haven’t had any problems at all with installation, etc.

This basic compass offers reliable navigation at an outstanding price!

This compass SAVED MY LIFE!

5 stars
5out of 5

Pros: Accurate, Strong Construction, Reliable Performance, Simple Controls, Compact

Best Uses: Campgrounds, River Trips, Backcountry Camping, Day Trips, Road Trips, Survival

Reviewer Comments: Got caught up in a sudden, vicious snow storm with zero visibility with my dog (misjudged timing of approaching storm). We were off trail with no landmark to gage directions due to blizzard condition, was completely disorientated. I had a windproof softshell on, that was it, pooch had a very good coat on, but not enough. We were in a very bad shape and hypothermia was a real danger. Since the map was useless (zero landmark) the compass was our only hope. I knew if we headed south we would come across a trail that would lead us back to the trailhead (or whatever is left of the trail since there was heavy snow cover). So through loose rocks and icy slopes we followed the red pointer on the compass and sure enough after what seemed like hours we found the trailhead and our truck covered in inches of fresh powder. I take my A10 everytime, everywhere now no matter how easy I think a hike will be… you never know when you will need it. This compass is now the one piece of item I cherish the most in my pack.

Reviewer Comments: I bought these shoes for my son who is a professional cook. He has two pair, one for work and one for regular wear. The work pair has survived many spills and an dropped professional quality knife. The shoe was cut, but was tough enough to prevent him from losing a toe! He stands in them for many hours while he is working and loves these shoes.

5out of 5

Pros: Comfortable, Easy to install, Great Features, Easy to Adjust

Cons: Bulky

Best Uses: Infants, Toddlers, Back Seat

Reviewer Comments: I was in an accident this weekend with my 14 month old daughter in the car and she was not hurt at all due to this car seat.(thank god) Although, the accident was in the front of the car I am convinced that the size of this car seat and the durability had a lot to do with her not being hurt. I paid a lot of money for this seat and its a bit big but sure is worth it.

Great Rehab Shoe

5 stars
5out of 5

Sizing: Feels true to size

Width: Feels true to width

Pros: Stable, Comfortable

Cons: none

Best Uses: Rehab

Reviewer Comments: Due to a strep infection, I had to have my knee and hip prosthesis removed. I spent 16 weeks in the hospital. Of that, I was bedridden for 83 days. When my knee prosthesis was put back in, I had to learn to stand and walk again.

All of my shoes were backless and they were unsuitable for Rehab. So I found these and bought a pair to try them. I now own 4 pairs - 3 of this style and one of the Mary Janes.

They are awesome!! They have good support, lightweight, and give me the traction I need to be able to walk without slipping.

I can’t wait until I can get my hip prosthesis and I can really use them to walk and exercise!

I would recommend them to anyone for any reason. I love them!!
